Project 4380
2026
Video Production
What Is This Year’s Project?
2026 is devoted to mastering the fundamentals of video production—planning, filming, lighting, sound, editing, storytelling, and on-camera presence. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s exploration, experimentation, and building the skills needed for future creative and business projects.
Primary Goal for 2026:
Produce consistent video content while learning the entire production pipeline.
Why Video Production Matters
A. Creative Growth
Video opens up new ways to tell stories—through visuals, pacing, rhythm, and tone. It pushes me to explore creativity beyond the written page and develop a broader storytelling toolkit.
B. Business Alignment
Strong video skills support my overall creative brand. They enhance author marketing, improve how I share stories and projects with readers, and lay the early groundwork for future multimedia work.
C. Long-Term Skill Development
Learning video now makes future creative projects smoother and stronger—everything from trailers and ads to behind-the-scenes content and polished visuals. The skills I build this year will continue to pay off across every creative venture.
How 2026 Works
2026 isn’t built on rigid schedules or checklists. It follows a simple creative cycle that repeats throughout the year—exploration, experimentation, growth, and production. Each phase supports the next, allowing the work to evolve naturally.
Throughout the year, I’ll dive into new tools, techniques, and ideas—from lighting and audio to framing, editing, and visual storytelling.
With each video I’ll begin to understand what works and what doesn’t. Mistakes are welcome and tinkering is encouraged. Every experiment adds another piece to the puzzle.
As skills develop, the projects grow with them. Short clips turn into scenes, scenes evolve into more polished pieces, and the workflow becomes more refined and intentional.
Some videos will be simple, some ambitious—but all are part of the journey.
